ROHM AND HAAS – New Quadrangle Design

The Spring House Technical Center, headquarters of Rohm and Haas Company’s research and development, is located on a 133 acre former farm site. Lamba Associates, Inc.’s design showcases the creative and innovative spirit of Rohm and Haas, with a space viewed through the large curtain wall of the main Administration Building’s cafeteria.
Landform manipulation creates graceful stylized hills, with walkways flowing around them, and an informal amphitheater focusing on a rain garden at the lowest point of the terrain. The rain garden collects the run-off from the site and its planting creates a vibrant natural habitat.
